We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve the App.

a. Account Information

• Email address

• Authentication identifiers from sign-in providers (Apple and Google)

We do not collect passwords for third-party accounts.

b. User Content

• Goals, tasks, notes, links, and other content you create in the App

• Inputs you provide to AI-powered features (prompts and context)

c. Usage & Device Information

• App interactions and feature usage

• Device type, operating system, and app version

• IP address (used for security and approximate location)

• Crash logs and diagnostic data

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the App

• Save and sync your content

• Generate AI-powered plans and suggestions

• Improve product performance and usability

• Monitor security and prevent abuse

• Comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

Unlock uses internally developed AI agents (including AIDA, supported by LangChain) to generate plans, tasks, and suggestions based on your inputs.

• Your data is processed only to provide the Service

• Your data is NOT used to train AI or machine-learning models

• AI outputs are generated dynamically

5. Analytics

We use analytics services to understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience:

• Amplitude

• Google Analytics

These services collect usage and device data in aggregated or pseudonymized form where possible.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption in transit and at rest

• Access controls and monitoring

No system is completely secure, but we take appropriate steps to protect your information.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data only with:

• Service providers (analytics, authentication, infrastructure)

• Apple and RevenueCat for subscription and payment processing

• Legal authorities, if required by law

All providers are required to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

Unlock is a global app. Your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the European Union or United States, depending on service providers. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We retain your data only as long as necessary to:

• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.

You may delete your account:

• By contacting support@beforesunset.ai

Upon deletion, your personal data and User Content are permanently removed unless legally required otherwise.

12. Children's Privacy

Unlock is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App and/or by email.
